The concert’s first half comprised ten baroque and classical favourites beginning with Arrival of the Queen of Sheba from the Oratorio Solomon by Handel; the concert’s second half commenced with the popular Meditation from the opera Thaϊs by Massenet and concluded with Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen Suite.

Alf & Pearl Pollard Memorial Awards for Performance Excellence held in association with Sydney Eisteddfod. Ten of the most outstanding instrumentalists aged 11-15 from the 2018 Eisteddfod. Performances are followed by an audience vote and the awarding of prizes.

Cantorion Sydney Male Voice Choir with Musical Director/tenor soloist Ben Oxley, soprano soloist Samanta Lestavel, bass baritone soloist David Watson, accompanist Mavis Wang and compere Greg Bell. The audience enjoyed a diversity of choral music ranging from Welsh folk songs including the Welsh Traditional All through the Night, to a South African Folk song, some traditional American Gospel music and more.
